Montreal is a corruption of “Mount Royal”. The city is based at the foot of this supposed mountain. Upon visiting Montreal, Toby realized that Mount Royal must be a warlock that cast an invisibility spell on itself. No matter how hard Toby looked, there was no mountain there. When asked, the locals pointed to where the warlock/mountain supposedly was. It must have been hiding behind this bump of a hill. Toby doesn’t trust warlocks and is surprised that so many people willingly chose to live so close to one. He spent the entire trip on the look out for people walking around with cloven hooves.
